We’re looking for a Director of Business Development for our Machinery Group to join our team in either our Los Angeles, California or Sebastian, Florida location. This is a very high-level position reporting directly to the CEO and its major shareholder of the corporation. Our machines are designed to heat seal various materials and they serve the packaging needs of a variety of industries including biomedical, pharmaceutical, aerospace and computer technology. We proudly build machines in the United States and have an international customer base that we support. The company also has a distinct line of lower end economical sealing equipment that is produced overseas. The packaging industry is very dynamic and the demand for custom engineering and design as well as standard market focus items is growing every year. Several years ago we acquired the Gramatech vacuum sealer product line [please apply online] and are still considering other Acquisitions in this space. Please be prepared to discuss your experience in the area of acquisition evaluation and integration or at the very least your willingness to learn this particular skill set.

We have a number of relationships that are already well-established and have companies that produce specific items solely for our company. A primary responsibility will be to develop the marketing plans for some of these items. The minimum qualifications for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or related degree
• 10 years of direct sales experience and/or sales team management experience
• Packaging Machinery industry sales experience required
• Candidates should have experience dealing with customers in great detail, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
